Q: What is a private String?
You can keep any String you create private so only you and the friends you add to the String can view it. Delete the String and its deleted on every device. All Strings are private by default. If the visibility of a String is changed, you will be notified so you leave the String if you choose.

Q: What is a followed String?
You can make a String visible to your friends so they can follow your String. You can follow any public String by liking it. You automatically follow any Strings your friends create and make visible to "friends".

Q: What are Public Strings?
Have a String to share with the world? Make your String public and anyone can discover it and follow it or ask to added to the String.

Q: How do I change settings on a String?
To change settings on a String, tap on the gear icon. You can enable/disable downloads, set a Strings to private, visible to friends, or public, set a title for the String, change the cover photo, and delete/leave a String.

Q: How do I delete a comment, or picture/video posted to a String?
To delete a post you make to a string - just tap and hold. If you created the String, you can delete anyones post. If you did not create the String, you can only delete your own post. Note, for comments, you have to tap and hold in the margin.

Q: How do I add a friend to a String?
Simply tap under the title for the String where you see the list of people who are added to the String. If you created the String, you can add anyone who is your friend. If you didnt created the String, you can ask to have any friend added to the String. The creator of the String has to approve adding your friend.
